Applying the Rubric/Peer Reviewer Certification
Date of Issue: 2009
This is QM's flagship workshop on the QM Rubric
and its use in evaluating online courses. It is
intended for a broad audience, including but not
limited to faculty, instructional designers,
administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to
understand more about the QM process and,
perhaps, aspire to become peer reviewers.

This online workshop also includes the Peer
Reviewer Course (PRC) which specifically
addresses the roles and responsibilities of a peer
reviewer. It is intended for anyone who wants a
detailed understanding of the peer reviewer role.
This may include those who intend to serve as
trainers and/or reviewers on internal course review
teams at their own institution. For those who meet
the eligibility requirements and apply, the PRC
provides QM peer reviewer certification.
Registrants must have successfully completed the
Applying the QM Rubric before being eligible to
take this course.
Train the Trainer Certificate
Date of Issue: 2009
This workshop extends participants' understanding
of the QM Rubric to a level of expertise that will
allow them to facilitate the face-to-face APPQMR
workshops within their institution. It includes two
weeks of course content, an extensive 3-hour
conference call in the third week and a culminating
assignment in the fourth week. It is intended for a
broad audience, including but not limited to faculty,
instructional designers, administrators, and
adjunct instructors who are interested in acquiring
a license to provide the APPQMR workshop in their
institutions. Pre-requisiste requirements include
the successful completion of the Applying the QM
Rubric (APPQMR) and the Peer Reviewer
Certification (PRC) workshops. Additionally,
independent trainers must be part of a full
subscription. Statewide trainers must be appointed
by the statewide systems office to act as the
statewide trainer.
